ok, i had a problem where when my 93 dx got to normal running temp. it would bog out, and if i turned it off it will be hard to start again. so today it died exactly as i pulled in the parking space in my complex. i borrowed a car, went to the nearest advanced auto - picked up a new cap n rotor, and a set of new plugs, changed it out and now it seems worse.

now -
1. i did one spark plug wire at a time when changing the cap, so i can avoid mixing up the wires.

2. i gapped the plugs at .44 in. as specified.

3. i also adjusted the idle, it seemed that when the car stared cold, i had a rough idle, and that did not work.

i was told that it could be the main relay, but i dont know how to check it, besides that, i bought the car almost a year ago and the prevoius owner didnt know when the last time it had a tune up, cuz it sat in his front yard for months. i know im stupid for not doing it then, but trust me im paying for it now.

 

does anybody have any ideas or suggestions, PLEASE! this is my everyday driver!
