Where is the VIN on a B18C5 block?

Where is the VIN on a B18C5 block?
Hey all,
I am talking to a guy about buying his hatch with an ITR motor. He told me the following things:
- motor is 2000 and USDM
- the car is state refed in CA
However, he says he can't find the VIN number on the block. I need to get these numbers from him (to make sure everything is clear and legit) before he drives out here. Could someone please tell me where the VIN number is located on the block, or possibly post a picture??
