T3 oil feed question .....plz help

Default T3 oil feed question .....plz help

ok this might be a bit of a newbish question but dont hate me cuz im stupid




the oil feed on my turbo is NOT threaded like all the other turbos ive seen. My question is how am i supposed to connect my oil feed line?? is there an adapter? Is the hole self threading?

ure answers would be greatly apreciated as this is all i have left to do to be boosting

the middle hole is not 1/8 npt threaded?

i've never seen that before.

i assume you can buy a fitting for it that uses the 2 flange threads though. tunertoys might have something?

no its not threaded at all....wierd..... im having my dad CNC me an adapter but I was wondering if this was normal and if there was an easier way to go about connecting the line.

When the turbo inlet isn't thread like yuors. you just ahve to buy an adapter flange that has either a female or male port. cake

any idea where i can get this flange?....i checked tunertoys and they dont have (BTW my oil line kit is from them)......

My oil inlet wasn't threaded either... no biggie, I just bought a flange for it instead of tapping it...

We've run into this situation on some of the old Saab? turbo's. We bought a $12 tap and threaded it while upside down.

The hole is even the correct size so no drilling is needed. I think this is a better method too becasue you are eliminating a potential leak area.
