Help! CEL wont go away
i have only owned my EG for not even 2 months now... Soon after i bought it i noticed a radiator leak, so i constantly have to pour water in to keep it from overheating. I never let it run out, i always keep it filled. Then all of a sudden one day my CEL comes on after i drive for about 20 min. I can turn the car off, and back on, and its gone, but it comes back a few minutes later. Well as time goes on its getting more frequent, like it will come on after only a minute sometimes. ive checked oil, fluids, etc, and the only clue i have is that it sometimes takes a while to crank or will act rough when im at idle or especially right after i start the car. Is there a way to check and see exactly what code im throwing?

take it to your local car shop or something, my CEL cam on a while ago took it to autozone for them to hook it up to the little obd thing, and found it was my o2 sensor. i know you can use a paper clip and count how many times your CEL flashes to find the problem, i dont have time or patience so i justr took it to a car shop and they checked it for free.

find a new hobby
autozone wont be able to scan your car anyway... only 96 and newer cars have the universal obd port... just jump the connector, count the flashes, and learn something new... as stated above it only takes a few seconds
