Default Can won't go into gear. Help!

So here's the problem...

When I turn my car ON, it would not go into gear. When the car is OFF, it would go into gear.

So I tried putting it in 1ST gear when the car is off and then start it. Well when I did that, it started making funny noises and crap, so I shut it off.

I tow the sucker home and work on it. Come to find out, the pilot bearing was seized and a clutch bolt has backed out. I replace the pilot bearing with an OEM one and put everything back on.

So now that everything is back together, I start her up and it still won't go into gear!!!11!1 Same thing happens like before, but a little different.

This time when I start it in 1ST gear, it wouldn't rattle or nothing. It would actually function normal. The only thing is that I cant switch gears.

I'm stumped on what to do so any help would be great!

check for little stuff like low tranny fluid. check your shift linkage is bent or anything that might look out of place. did you check to see if your throw-out bearing was in correctly or in at all. Also check the fingers on the pressure plate.

Sometimes things that you think won't have nothing to do with fixing the problem end up being the solution. Trust.

I'm going to take it apart for the third time and see what's up. I might end up replacing the clutch so hopefully it works out.

Any other suggestions would be cool though.

Actually, it's an Exedy Organic.

Well I took out the transmission today and everything seemed good. The throwout bearing still moves and the pilot bearing is still good.

My dad now suspects that it may be the clutch disc and I need to replace it. I took some pics so you guys can diagnose it.

Let me know what you guys can see.

The images are high-res btw.

OMFG! You got to be shitting me because the same **** happened to me just before the weekend except my car is a dc2. Being the car n00b that I am though I had to tow it to the local mechanics for them to check it out

Luckily though I still had my mechanical warranty because I had just bought the car about 4 weeks ago. Was going to run out in a few days or so :D

Bump this **** up because Im interested what the cause to this **** is.

check your trany, while you have it off the car. My car did the same thing, but I had a bad clutch and a broken countershaft bearing.

well in my case the counter shaft bearing broke. who knows if its a clutch problem or a trany problem.

but while you have the trany out, its worth to take a look inside (if you know how) and see if anything wrong.

Moving to a stiffer pressure plate can damage or destroy a worn, stock slave or master cylinder. Check those before you dig back in to your tranny.

I recently put in a 15/16th master cylinder in and I put ATE Super Blue both in the clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder.
