hi im new here..
i got a 92-95 civic si lip from my friend and tried to fit it on and apparently it didnt work...i saw pictures online and it work out right hows that?

i know that a 92-95 si lip can fit on the old del sol front such as the 93 year or so


i really need help, if anyone can help me on what can fit on a 1997 del sol front please let me know

It's called a "CONVErSION" it's not goin t bolt right up, your goin to have to get it fitted to the car, I did a 2004 Celica Front End conversion on my 95 sol.. Currently gettin the pieces together to do a saleen s7 front end/body modification to the car. GOOD LUCK!

Thats not right, mine bolted up perfect on my 97 front end

take off the bumper and hold the 92-95 ex lip in place while ur homie drills it in place. its gonna be a tight fit.

The only tip I can give you is start from the sides of the bumper and work your way to the center. You can line it up better.

im serious it doesnt fit its to short to wrap around the the sides for i can drill holes

 

dude the 97 front is different from the 95 like i said before

 

the only real difference is in the bumper with the del sol, its different entirely with the civics I belive.

You may be able to bolt up a 92-95 civic front end with little to no modification but I cant remember 100% right now, I think you may have to drill a few holes in the fender to mount it properly.

 

make it look good yourself, take a dremel tool, cut out the cetner grill thing, and put a home dept grill in there. THats what i did, and it cleaned it up SOOOO much. But i painted hte grill the same color as the car (it was on when the bumper was painted but looks good)

but the problem is that the lip is to short as in the width wise

i can wrap the lip around the sides to bolt it down n i juss can cut it cause that wont help either

then i believe you should get the correct lip to do this

i have seen quite a few places actually make lips specifically for the del sol, try searching on google or ebay.
you can also try any del sol forumn, you'll probably get more help there. the only thing is it might take a while since they don't get as much traffic.
