Default Ls engine swap

My buddy has a 97 civic ex. He just bought a built integra ls engine. I was just wondering if anybody has done a swap like this, or if anyone knows how hard it will be. The engine has everything with it, so i am mainly talking about the motormount situation, and that kind of stuff. He is looking for an ls tranny for it too. Thanks alot!! Any words of advise will be greatly appreciated.

the lower tranny mount just depends on what kind of tranny he gets and what year...i have a 94 b16 tranny off a del slo...so i just used the del slo tranny mount....as far as mounts go....you need your stock passenger top mount....2000 civic Si rear mount...and your stock driver side....BUT...i emphasize this....your driver side up mount may be used....but i would be getting a hasport one....i snapped mine after my second run going down the street....they aren't made for the B...there made for the D..i think you'll also need the Delsol Vtec A/C bracket as well...

Wiring for the motor is as easy as the D..basically take your harness and flop it on the B and your ready to go..you have a EX so wiring is very simple..you may have to extend a few sensors...but its a very strait forward swap...the EX harness makes it easier...

I assume you have an ECU PR4/P75...i ran a conversion harness and ran obd1 b/c 2 o2 sensors aren't my thing and all the other B/S obd2 has.....

Good luck

Thanks a lot. He will be running an ls tranny in it, so he would just need an ls tranny mount?? And just a diiferent rear motormount?? ya i hope he buys all new monts, because supposedly it is a pretty built engine. Thanks again, i appreciate it.

Use the LS brackets and upper tranny and driver side mount. All the rubber bushings use the Civic ones.
