what kind of tire do you all recommend for a 16"x7" wheel
what type of tires do you guys prefer--as in which brand? and what size tire should i get for that size wheel? 205/45's? the rim is a 16" rota c8, and i don't need supersticky tires....
If you want a good wet and dry tire that can perform and last a long time go with either a
1. 205/50/16 or 205/45/16 or 215/40/16 Yokohama A520 TL ($$)
2. 215/45/16 or 205/50/16 Michelin Pilot Sport ($$$)
3. 205/50/16 or 215/40/16 Kumho Ecsta 712 ($)
I personally like the Yokohama's

If you don't mind your speedo indicating a little slower than you're actually going, there's Falken Azenis 215/45-16. They don't come in 215/40. Other tires that come in 215/40: Continental ContiSport Contact, Pirelli P7000.
I'd probably go with the Falkens and just err on the side of caution with the speedo. Otherwise it's a toss-up between the Pirellis and the Yokos.

195/45R16
205/45R16
215/40R16 but your car will severely react to tracks in the road
Toyo Proxes T1-s
Michelin Pilot Exalto
Bridgestone Potenza
Dunlop P7000
205/50R16 will increase wheel diameter too much
