Default Help with power to headunit

I have a little problem. Somehow on my 99 EK the power wire going into the wiring harness to my headunit doesn't work. So as a little fix I ran a wire to the battery to power my headunit, but now the problem is that it doesn't turn on or off with the car. For saftey precautions I put a 7.5 amp fuse in between the battery and headunit.

Any ideas as to how I can wire it so that It'll turn on and off with the car?

use the acc wire that went to the stock radio, pretty easy - use a test light and see which wire goes on / off when you turn the key.

Thanks bbasso. I ended up using the cigarette adapter ACC wire to wire it up.
