Default 89 CRX SI W/B16 Running super rich

Hey guys i'd like somehelp on figuring out how to lean out my car a little bit. It is running super rich the exhaust has an enourmous amount of sut on it. I thought that maybe one of the o2 sensors was not hooked up but i checked and they both were (obd-0). What could be causing me to run super rich and what could i do to fix it.

switch the o2 sensors and see if that help. switch them as in switch the wires going to each. i think they are probably backwards
