if your gonna be doing it yourself, i would recommend bre. just do a little research on the pgmfi boards and you grasp the concept. its very similar to turboedit

ok...there's a well informed, well thought out suggestion

there are plenty of people running obd0 b16s using a pm6 and turboedit right now. for the amount it would cost you to convert up to OBD1, you could pay someone to street tune you with a wideband and be done with it...

I am using BRE on a PW0 ecu, it fired right up no problem. Ben is working on a boost code for it. The program doesn't have all the bells and whistles yet. But it works. and is simple.

I haven't had the chance to tune it yet. But I did adjust the maps for nitrous. If you can get a hold of the boost code. IT is great. Ask J.Davis. This is on a customer's car.

I've also used BRE on a PR3 ECU before the revision. Worked quite nicely

I'm in NJ and have done quite a few TurboEdit cars.

Yes, just bring your car with socketed PM6 (running on a basemap) to your local tuner or dyno shop that can tune TE. They'll hook up a wideband and their equipment, tune you and send you off!

I may have to look into BRE though with the good words posted today by J. Davis and his customer
