Do you guys think i should go with the cheaper, lighter 16" rims or the more apealing 17" rims for my 4th gen?

 

What do you want? Performance or Cosmetic look?

 

both..lol but really could a rim 1inch smaller effect my 1/4 time? If so by how much??

 

youll get plenty performance out of 17" just not as much as 16s. depends on the tire you put on them as well. i have 17s on my car with a cheap yokohama tire and im a daily driver. to be honest im going to be looking at my wheels more than ill be running the 1/4 with them. depends on what you want.... just get what you like. but please stay away from 18s.. lol

a couple tenth's of a second. softer sidewalls are ideal for drag racing. on 17 inch rims, the sidewalls are usually stiffer because they have less sidewall.

seens u have 4 log.... my boy is sellin his light weight 17 rims... there are SSR GT3 rims... there ultra light ...650 w/ tires.... let me know if u want them.. u get both looks and light weight...

 

well i ran a 15.1 at the track, if i went to the 16's think id hit 14's?

 

go for some 16s = teh best
