Default P72 on a 00 Civic SI harness?

i hooked up my buddy's 96 Gs-R motor in his 00 SI using the exsiting SI harness because the ecu harness didnt come with the GSR motor, shouldnt a P72 be able to plug right into that harness or am i mistaken. I am used to doin type r swap and usin a chipped p28. this is first time i did a gsr swap he is runnin his SI computer right now so the motor isnt makin much power and i cant run the IAB on the si computer right?

you gotta use an obd2b p72. obd2a p72 has different plugs for the ecu.

no you cant run the iab on the si computer. either get a 2b p72 or get a 2a to 2b jumper.
