take a deep breath.....

First off...do you have an ecu? A p28 will run a B18c however, like you stated, it will not run you secondaries therefore a p72 would be best in your case given that you want to retain you stock IM(I would!)

Secondly...you should upgrade your fuel pump. The walboros pumps out there are pretty reasonable in terms of cost and are more then enough for future upgrades.

Thirdly...do a little research on here. There is a lot of info to be read!

Good luck

get a blox/skunk2 manifold and then you don't have to worry about the secondaries. fuel pump is also a good idea. did you gap the plugs to specs before you put them in? also if your on a budget try and save to get a set of ctr cams or just even the ctr intake cam. either way good luck with your new project bro

check out the website in my sig

ok thanks, Yep i got the p28 ecu with a skunk2 p08 chip its a 92-95 OBD-1 Civic D15 JDM chip....
is it better to retain my stock inake mainfold than geting a skunk 2.

i have a jdm gsr and in time i plan to go all motor and get cams and all that ...wouldent a p72 ecu be week for the motor ..? and with the the p72 can can just put a p72 chip in my p28 ecu right ...? what would u do if u where in my boat.??? thanks

a p72 would not be weak for the motor if you are running the stock int. manifold. honestly i would invest in the blox or skunk2 manifold since you already have a chipped p28. also by running a p28 you don't have to worry about your knock sensor.

is that ecu made to run a sohc or dohc motor?

Your best bet, reliability in addition to horsepower per dollar spent, will be to get a budget engine management system. You can get a Hondata s100 installed in that P28 for about 250.00. You can just get a Blox intake manifold for less than a P72 (GSR ECU) and make more power...without having to worry about the butterflys.

First find a tuner with some experience and vouches, then ask them what they prefer. Either will get you to the same end, Uber is cheaper but an S100 isn't exactly expensive. You'll most likely get better results with your tuner working with what they like.

The setup you are managing with right now is not healthy. If it is in fact a chip for a single slammer that is way freaking off for what you need. You can snap a SOHC ECU in an integra an it will run, but it's so far off it's not even funny. So, get it tuned and you will go fast and sleep easy.

i mean stock intake manifold. sorry for the confusion. what i meant was if you were running a stock intake manifold then running a p72 would be good because of the secondaries.

who did you get the ecu from? how does the car run now with the ecu? is your ecu throwing any codes?
