Need help...
OK, doing timing belt and water pump for my relative. Its a 98 Civic LX. Its automatic and all stock. I CANNOT get the crank pulley off. Ive tried everything. I cant take the motor out, the impact wrench isnt working.
Is there anywhere to lodge something in an auto like in a manual(flywheel). IF theres anything else i can do...tell me. Im leaving for vacation tomorrow and this needs to get done.

call a tire shop and ask them if one of the tecs can use his impact gun to loosen the bolt for you... or go to one and ask to talk to a tech slip him a 10 and ask him to loosen the bolt for u
it is a bitch i got a nice mac gun that wouldnt take the bolt off the tech i had do it for me used a 3/4 inch gun

I've had this problem many times. It's alot easier with the engine out of the car. I guess you could try wedging a pry bar onto the flywheel and see if you can hold it while someone else busts the bolt loose. Good luck. I don't think you'll get it off without an impact.
yeah i dont think so either. I tried a 33 gallon compressor with a 600 ft lb impact and it didnt budge at all...tried PB blaster...didnt work, tried to lodge something in the flywheel and it kept slipping
