Default My first swap HElP

I have an EK shell that I'm putting a obd1 b18c1 into. From what I've read so far people use a 96-98 ex wirenig harnesses and others use a 99-00 SI wireing harnesses. What would you recomend and why? And yes I did SEARCH

you should use the harness that your car is whether its 96-98 (obd2a) or 99-00 (obd2b) and use obd2 injectors and change the plug on the alternator and use a obd2 dizzy. You can use the Dizzy housing off of the B18C but just switch the insides, you know what i mean. Just run obd2 and you can get a jumper harness for a obd1 ecu. Thats what my friend did with his EK with a obd1 LS

Actually the internals of an OBD1 and OBD2 distributor are the same, simply changing the plug style is all that is needed.
