a vtec head or ls/crv block? cuz in my case i have a b18c integra..just curious as to the costs of making a lsvtec/crvtec setup

 

A Vtec head generally costs more, you can get a LS block for relatively cheap. Just have your b18c resleeved to 84mm (or bigger if you want) get some custom pistons (to match your bore) and maybe upgrade your rods, you'll be set...of course there is more to it than that, but you get the idea. anybody know the price range of the blocks out there? b20 or b18b

 

500-600 for ls shortblocks - these can be found for even 400 bucks.
700-800 for the crv shortblocks - these prices are going up due to the demand.
