thats a sweet cylinder head but u wont get full power from it with b16 bottom end!!!! basically you are not using the full potential of the head as the b16 bottom end does not rev high enough. This is assuming your bottom end is stock at the mo.

Get a b18c5 Type r bottom end and tranny and go all Genuine honda type r on it!!!!

serious, thats a sweet b16 block man, thought pistons would be oil starved at those revs cuz ctr or itr pistons are utalized for extra oiling.

as you can appreciate making the b16 rev higher in stock form is not the Honda way, but saying that, they do build their **** good.

rod ratio d00d, displacement has nothing to do with it. the longer the rod to stroke ratio, the higher the motor can rev safely.

all in all i think your setup is not bad, it has alot of potential if you look at the way JDMlysfestyle has modified his motor. ITR box would be a good move.

Get some big cams to take advantage of the ported head and your good r/s ratio...

i wouldnt call a PR3-R head ported. it has the the area just behind the valve seat debured and smoothed out. i beleive some called this the bowl area in another thread.
