According to the 5th gen Prelude manual book, it has 15.9 gallons of fuel capacity.

But howcome I only need 11 - 12 gallons to get full tank with my car? The empty light was on and I fuel it all the way up to 11 gallons only. This is not a one time thing either. Thank.

 

Uh, because when your fuel light comes on you still have ~3-4 gallons left? It's call a warning light, not a your empty light.

Yeah, the fuel light gives a very generous warning...you will still have lots left.

 

Even if you run it bone dry, I've never been able to fit more than 14.5 gallons in.

 

do 5th gens even have a low fuel light?? ive never even seen mine come on....

ooo sweet.. im on the E right now, and imma see how far i can go, till i see the light...ive never seen it come on.... so i guess, ill go for another day w/o gettin gas, and see if it comes on..lol
