Default question about skunk2 intake manifold for gsr

I've got a B18c in my eg, which I use for daily driving (I am trying to maximize my low end power and torque). I've got jdm type r headers, 2.25" piping, a dynomax superturbo muffler, and plan on doing mild N/A motor work (cams, etc.). Adding a skunk 2 intake manifold with a type r throttle body & intake will not do anything for my low end (< 4000 RPM), correct?

he's right. you'll lose some bottom end power but will gain top end power. i have a friend with a 99 gsr, and he says that he barely notices the difference. but maybe with a built head the feeling will be better.

When I had my b18c in my hatch I had a skunk2 im, jdm itr header, 2.5" cat and a'pexi WS. Driving it everyday for 2 yrs before I pulled it out, it ran like a dream. Everyday driving (< 4-5krpm) I didn't even notice anything different, top-end def felt better and more responsive. Definitely worthwhile of a mod for a b18c1. hth.
