90 ef b16a b18c5 block install help!!!!!!!!!!!????????????!!!!!!!!
i have a 90 b16 hatch obd0 i have a chance to get a b18c5 block im going to use the b16 head i shouldnt have any problems right ? just switch blocks and sensors right ow ya i have hcp mounts if that maters
so what do you all think is it worth it for a b18c5 (its my friends)90,000 miles

900 dollars for just a short block? i've seen a long block of that engine for sale for 600. besides, why'd he pull it apart?
but, yeah, if you use b16 components, (like sensors, intake manifold, etc.) the swap would be just like a b16a swap in difficulty. might rub your hood like a normal b18 swap would, though.

All the swap should switch over easily. As already mentioned, you will have to address hood clearance issues. Most people buy eith a zc hood, or a vis sir cf hood made for a usdm civic/crx.
