help! I broke a bolt
I had an oil leak from the oil pan after installing my turbo.
I tried re-torqing the bolts and I managed to break one inside the block. It is one of many small 10mm bolts that holds the oil pan in place.
Can someone give me detailed step by step instructions on how to fix this?

If you really want to remove the broken bolt heres how. By the way this is a 6mm bolt, it has a 10mm head.
You must very accurately center punch the portion of the bolt remaining in the crankcase. Next drill straight into the broken bolt with a 5/32" drill bit. You will need to drill approximately 1/4" deep. (A left hand drill bit works best, but they are only available from an industrial supplier. With a left hand drill bit the bolt often unscrews as its being drilled.) Insert an ezy-out into the drilled hole. tap lightly with a ball pein hammer. You should be able to unscrew the bolt with the ezy-out.

Do not leave it like that or else you'll be leaking oil all over the place. If you have some of the stud still stick out you can use a pair of pliers to screw it out. If it broke deep inside the block then you'll have to use the method posted above. Good luck.
Yikes, there is a lot easier way if you have some of the threading still sticking out. Just screw two slim nuts on the threading left, and tighten them really well. Then latch on to the one on the bottom and back out the broken bolt. The nut on top will keep the nut on the bottom from spinning. Hopefully you have some threading left so this is possible. If not, you'll have to go get an "easy out" or something like that to tap into the bolt. That's also not too hard.
