LS/VTEC dowel pins holes drilled out too much by machine shop!!!!!
I will post pics tommorrow cause its hard to explain exactly, but they drilled the damn holes out for the LS/VTEC dowel pins WAAAY too much, like a damn 16th of an inch too much. What the hell do I do? They have so much play in them, it completely defeats the purpose of having them, they are just for aligning the head right? Any ideas? Wait til you see the pics if I can get some good ones. I was looking forward to starting the VTEC conversion tommorrow, but I dont know what I can do to fix this
yea since the block is already over drilled have them match the hole for the head, and find dowel pins to fit correctly into the holes.... machine shop

Sorry I dont have the pics yet, I need more batteries for my camera. So where can I get some aluminum dowel pins, or something I can fit in there and redrill the holes so the pins fit right? I think thats the best idea.

Assuming that the machine shop admits that it's their fault, have them make up stepped dowels out of stainless steel.
