Hey, I did a bit of searching. Im not sure what the problem is with my car. It runs fine and all, i did 14.4 at the track with the car missfiring while in VTEC.

However i am a bit worried and would like to fix the problem. When I get on the gas and hit VTEC, you can hear the car breaking up through the exhaust. Some friends told me it was missfiring. So i went ahead and got new NGK spark plugs and MSD spark plug wires. It is still missfiring now, but not as often as it was before.

So I plan to take a next step and get a MSD distributor cap..

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this before I spend more money buying and guessing?

By the way, there is no check engine light...The timing is slightly advanced above stock. But it was this way for months with no problems...
