I have tuned a few RX-7's with an AF of around 12. Just wondering if it is the same for a b16a (all stock internals) now that I have purchased a Power FC for a EK. Also, I heard that the ECU provides different AFR for different gears that you're in, is this true? If so, why is that? When I swapped the b16 into my EK, i did not notice any ECU pinouts that are associated with gears.

12.7 and appropiate timing for best acceleration.

13.2 and appropriate timing for best bragging numbers on the machine.

Would be some numbers to hit. All motors are slightly different so just "give the motor what it wants ie. tune it."

for all motor cars i tune the a/f to 13:1 at WOT. car runs strong with that a/f ratio. 12:1 on an all motor car is too rich.
