Default Need help, I wanna paint my valve cover...

And i was wondering if it was as easy as unscrewing the nuts that I pointed out. Is it easy to replace or is there things I should be careful with?

Remove spark plugs.
Remove hose on upper left hand side.
Remove nuts.
Pull out.

When you put it back, be careful to seat the o-rings that sit on top of the "ports" where the spark plugs go. Plus, careful on how the seal around the valve cover seats and make sure it's clean. Also, don't over-tighten the nuts when you put it back on, they will break EASILY. Last thing, clog all holes with paper towel or paper, try not to get paint INSIDE the valve cover.

You said it, just unscrew those and pull out your spark plug wires and it will come right off. Just remember to watch your valve cover gasket, if it looks ratty you should replace it because it might start leaking.

you should replace the valve cover gasket and the spark plug seals anyways because they are cheap....sometimes just loosening the nuts will break the bolts, they are very week, but easy to replace

Didnt really do it to emphasize the Vtec factor. Just did it because the stock one was nasty. I like it alot better.

get it powder-coated! As long as you take it to them stripped and degreased it shouldn't be more than 50 bucks.

even tho it's common sense, you don't have to remove the plugs, just the wires...and i'm sure it's just a typo there

when you put them back on, remember to torque them down to spec(84 in-lbs if i remember correctly)
