Which of these aftermarket upper arms are better? Omni power or Skunk2?

because I had junk2's
the frame bent, they didnt hold (stripped), and the balljoints lasted about 1year before going out and they wanted $70 for 1 new one.

same question here, i think they just control the distribution of weight to the shock but im not sure

The upper control arm (UCA) stabalizes the top of the front spindle/suspension depending on the location (front or rear) and the lower control arm (LCA) connects to the bottom of the knuckle/suspension and allows for the inclusion of a swaybar to put lever force on either extreme point in the suspension, i.e. the point closest to the tires without sacrificing safety.

Basically they connect from the unibody to the moving part of the front hubs and they can rotate and/or flex via balljoints and urethane bushings to absorb and control the deflection in your suspension setup as it pertains to the points at the unibody.

 

They (upper and lower) connect the knuckle (has the brakes and what not). All they really do is control the movement of the knuckle. And buying aftermarket ones, such as the omni power ones gives you the ability to adjust for positive or negative camber. Which occurs when you lower or raise the car.

And yes, they are both the same. Skunk 2 makes the omni power, or it could be the other way around, I'm not sure. I have the omni power and will probably get rid of it when I get new shocks and springs in the next couple of months.

stock, find race shops to bend your spindles.

 

Wouldn't bending the spindles weaken the piece??

Are the ingalls better or do they slip also?

How low was your car? Did you race with it??

your only bending 1~4 degrees depending on what you want and how low you are. and no it doesn't weaken it.

 

I was and still am on H&R sport springs, so not that low.
At that time it was all street/city driving - no racing. But that shouldnt matter at all, since skunk2 is a racing products company. If you ask me, the only decent thing they make are shifters and *****...which doesnt say much.
