How many miles on the fuel filter? They are a regular maintenace item and I personally replace it when doing a coolant change at 60k.
Was this code present before the Walbro installation? Do you have a FPR and fuel pressure gauge?
Walbro's + OEM FPR's usually create a higher fuel pressure because the Walbro is overwhelming the FPR's ability to return excess fuel to the tank.

not sure when the filter was last replaced, ive perseonally had the car for about 40k or so. the code wasn't present before the pump install. i am usuing stock fpr and inj. it only happens if im crusing at a certain speed for several mins.
You either need an adjustable FPR + guage and adjust the fuel pressure back to stock setting or just take out the Walbro for the time being. Is there a reason you needed it (the Walbro)?
yea i had it for my 12 to 1 lsvtec motor that i got rid of, but i want to know why i hear a pulsing sound in the engine bay. what are teh signs of a bad or going bad filter.
same as a clogged cat. low power loss of power especially approaching highway speeds and stalling. sounds to me like you have entirely too much fuel and the fpr is having trouble relieving. unless of course you're talking about when the car isn't running.

I wouldn't know since I replace it regularly enough that I haven't come across the problem.....you should do the same.
You need to do something about the fuel pressure situation.
