Default C&R or Koyo Radiator?

I gotta get a new radiator for my car, seeing as how my old one was stolen. I went the the Acura Dealership to ask them how much it was, and they said it was $484 for just the Radiator... so I figure it'd be better to just get an aftermarket one.

So I was just wondering which one would be a better buy? And also which one will fit in my ITR, Denso or Showa. Also, what is the difference between all aluminum and aluminum/plastic, since there seems to be a great price difference. I will also be running my car NA, no turbo. And if it's not too much trouble, a few links to some places with good prices would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. -.^''

Denso is USDM and Showa is JDM. Get the one that matches your front end. I believe the Showa model is a little thicker.

A few of my friends run Koyo's and they have no problems at all. I've heard recently that the filler neck is a little weak . The C&R comes with a fan and is also of great quality. A little pricey though.

There are a few sponsors in the Performance Section selling Koyo's. I'll probably get one when the time comes.

Hope this helps

So would a stock radiator.

I never had a temp issue with the stock radiator, a/c installed, running hard at the track in 100 deg temps in my ITR.

or - if you have the coin(s), either of the 3 (stock, C&R, Koyo) with a new thermostat would be good.

In the honda's I've owned the plastic/alum ones tend to crack where the 2 materials meet. This has happened to every honda I've owned. If you can get an all aluminum one.

thats what happened to me too....so i just got the c&r. came with 1 big fan which kept the temps down if i did not use a/c. the temp needle kept on going up while sitting in SoCal traffic with a/c so i bought a tiny 8" fan and i havent had a problem since.
