Default universal vs OEM style Oxygen sensors

I need to replace both O2 sensors on my GSR. Right now, it has Bosch sensors that came with the car when I bought it. I've been looking around, and I understand companies like Denso make OE style and universal sensors. Obviously, I would like to use the univeral sensors because they are so much cheaper, about $75 compared to $200+. Which sensors do you guys use on your cars that are reliable? Thanks

I am using a universal, the difference is with the Universal you have to wire it up yourself, but with the direct fit its plug and play.

I got mine for $49.99 @ Carquest.

arsenal, how long have you had the univeral type installed? My Bosch univerals only worked for about 7 months before the CEL came back on. So I was thinking of buying a different brand.

I get the aftermarket OE for the 92 Accord. Same sensor, different price. Difference in the sensors is the length of the wire. Universal sensors often times fail emissions.

slomofo, you said you got the aftermarket OE for the 92 accord? But what trim was the sensor for, DX, LX, or EX? And you said the only difference is the length of the wire? But , are you sure of this? Also, is the wiring harness the same?

Accord EX, it was $49.99, accords have the O2 in the bottom of the header, just like the OBD1 integras and upper model civics. Actually, the integra wires are like an inch shorter, so the extra wire length on the accord won't hurt.

If you have two sensors, sometimes one has to be a specific sensor while the other can be a cheap universal one.

U can get the 94 Accord EX sensor for both front and rear sensor on your 98 integra. Those sensors are $65.99/ea for the Bosch OE style.
