Default Tranny Fluid Level

I checked my tranny fluid level after a 30 minute drive 1/4 city 3/4 highway and the fluid was pass the X's (97 2.2cl). It's suppose to be in the X's... Also is this an accurate check ?

Is their anyway to get out some fluid, without draining/filling?

I would say let the fluid settle and then remeasure your atf level. If you have to drain some out there should be a plug near by (I don't remember exactly where its at on the 97's).
