anyone have a h23a1 diagram im tryin to check my iacv out please help

 

How what do you mean "Diagram" there are many types, do you need vacumm or what? If you are looking for the IACV, its on the front of the intake manifold right in the middle. It has a connector hooked up to it and has 2 hoses coming out of the bottom.

 

im just trying to figure out why my car is idiling from 1 g to 2 gs and some one told me iacv

 

surging idle or just a high idle?

 

it is a surging idle
from 1g to 2 g constantly

 

ok well the IAC does not have any vacuum lines running to or from it.

How to test it: Take your intake off and on the bottom left side of the inside of the throttle body before the butterfly, you will see a hole. with the car running, put your finger over the hole and plug it. Your idle is going to drop, check to see if it is still surging. If it is you have a vacuum leak elsewhere, start checking hoses by pinching them to see if the surging goes away.

 

i held my finger over the hole and it started idleing fine wht should i do now???????????

I have a 1995 prelude Si with the h23a1 and I had a new engine and transmission put in an now when I start it up it idles at 5-6k any help?
