anyone happen to know the size of the fittings for the AVCR?

I called Apex'i USA and they said, "we have the replacement fittings" but had no clue of the actual size.

Stan thought they were 1/8th NPT but that is a bit too big. -3 will thread in, but its not wide enough to really hold.

I'm trying to complete all my stainless steel vacuum lines and just wondering if anyone knows.

I'm considering retaping the damn thing.

its 1/8 pipe tread. I'm using the apexi boost soleniod with AEM EMS. thats the size I brought from home depot.

 

i tried 1/8npt and might go in 2 revolutions before getting bound up.

 

double check to make sure that you are using 1/8 pipe tread and make sure its not cross treaded. I have different types of nipples for my soleniod and they're all 1/8 pipe tread. I'll take a pic when I get home and post so you can see.

 

I think they are 1/8" BSPT. I've used 1/8" NPT fittings and they work fine though w/ teflon tape.

 

well what the hell, the GE vacuum manifold is 1/8th NPT right? Maybe my AVCR just hates me. I tired it before and got like 2-3 turns and then boom, just stopped. Really i'll just strip the bastard if needed.
