310cc P&H inj & 255lph fuel pump install. Will stock motor run normally?
I was going to put this in the FI forum, but I figured since its an N/A motor this would be better.
I am going to turbo my car soon (d16z6) and I bought an inline fuel pump and am about to buy 310cc injectors.
I heard the injectors are good for what I want to boost, 7-8lbs.
I want to install the fuel pump and injectors before I actually turbo the car so I dont have as much down time when I actually do the turbo install.
My plans are to
-install the fuel pump and injectors
-later chip ECU for uber-data and run the stock P28 .bin
-install turbo setup
-tune the motor
Will my car run normal if I install the 310cc injectors, or will it run pig-rich off the stock ECU?
BTW: I plan on doing all of this in steps, not all at once.

lol, dicks. Better question (I think). If I'm running rich on a completely stock motor I wont really screw anything up, will I? I know in boosted applications running rich can wash the oil off the cylinder walls and just **** up **** really bad, but daily driving on stock na wouldn't hurt it too bad, would it?

Just install the injectors when you install the turbo. It is going to run rich if you install the injectors with the stock ECU.
the pump, along wit the injectors will cause ur car to run like crap without management. u gotta remember your stock FPR isint used to the extra volume of fuel that pump is delivering. so u got a double wammy
and on a sohc itll kill you.
if u got uber, it can be tuned properly, tho.

Thanks guys. I think what I'm going to do is chip the ECU for uber first, then install the pump and injectors. Then I'll install the turbo stuff when I finally get it all.
Thanks
Nick
