steering noise

My 1gen Integra LS makes a strange noise when steering sharply at low speeds. Its like a click or a knocking noise, and it repeats until I straighten the wheels out. I don't think it does it when I turn at higher speed, but maybe I just haven't noticed it then. It doesn't seem the be affecting the turning capabilities either, but you can feel a VERY slight vibration in the steering wheel when you hear the noise.
If anyone can tell me what this is I'd really appreciate it
oh and by the way, sorry if this is a stupid question, i searched and couldn't find anything related to my problem.

maybe you're hitting against the bump stops. prevent the wheels from turning anymore and when they are against the stops, they'll make a clicking noise. i remember our 442 and Cutlass had those. but, these were worm&wiggle steering set-ups.
from what i understand, the steering and suspension is quite different than the DA9, DB, DC2 models.
i don't think it should be a problem, but maybe check your CV joints and boots. those would click at any angle turn.

I'll check the CV joints. They could be clicking/knocking everytime, but I only notice it around 5-15 mph, I guess because other things are distracting me at higher speeds, and normally I don't turn as hard going faster. I don't think its just the bump stops though, maybe sometimes it is because sometimes it clicks, but most of the time is loud knocking, like somethings bumping into something else.
Thanks man

would it happen to be louder when it's raining out or when the car is wet underneath?
your problem seems simliar to mine, although i've ruled out CV joints....i was thinking swaybar bushings perhaps??

Thats an interesting point..I can't think of whether or not its louder when its wet. I just really noticed the noise turning into my driveway yesterday (sunny and high 90s).
