I swapped an M2B4 into my 5th gen and the rear engine mounts don't seem to line up...anyone have this problem? I also got a 5th gen manual tranny mount, but it seems the mount still doesn't bring it up high enough...(tranny mount is about half an inch below the mount on the chassis).

Hmmm... when I changed my flywheel and clutch out my tranny looked like that too. I had to go back and loosen all the bolts and wiggle it around some more to make everything line up.
I'd say try that; don't remove them just loosen them enough to move the tranny a bit and you should be able to line that rear mount up....I'm not sure about the side, though.

i loosened the front engine mount, jacked up the one side and bolted the tranny mounts in place...once i got the side going, i then raised the rear end of the tranny and matched the holes...then bolted them down. but i hooked up everything (except for the axles) just to see if the car will start, and it's not starting...
any ideas?

got it started (had to wire the clutch switch from the immobilizer). Now trying to figure out what these two pipes coming out of the tranny are for?

have u noticed there are a lot of un-used plugs after the swap, i was thinking about cutting the plugs to make it look cleaner, instead of having so many plugs everywhere!
also, u treid your cruise?

the tubes coming off of the transmission are for the power steering variable assist setup. since you had an auto before, I'm guessing they ran elsewhere, or the power steering setup is totally different. just loop them to keep things clean.

the one's on the auto, the tubes that connected to it came out of the radiator...so i wasnt sure if it's the same hook up?
So the two pipes in the pic from the two trannies serve the same purpose?
