Default will a neptune ready ecu run a kenji chip or similar?

my buddy let me borrow his chipped p28 with a kenji program chip in it and it ran my car way better than my stock b16 ecu, i was wondering if i could just buy the same ship and put it in my neptune ready ecu or if they are different sockets?
