Throttle bodies.
LMAO ... hmmm throttle body is a door for air flow that goes to the intake ... the bigger the bore the more air flow ... i was going to be an ******* but i decided to be nice *cheese*
stock throttle body work fine kid ...

it let's air in. when you hit the gas pedal the butterfly valve opens up. do a search, or better yet, ask a friend to remove the intake tube off of your car so you can see and then put it back on.
if you don't know what it is/does, then at this point, you don't really need one.

A bigger bore throttle body will let more air in, which equals more power (well as long as there is enough fuel)

Definition: A housing containing a valve to regulate the airflow through the intake manifold. The throttle-body is usually located between the air cleaner and the intake plenum.
Sorry for the flamage.
Sorry for the flamage.
A bigger bore throttle body will not do anything for you unless your engine requires/needs more airflow. Putting a larger throttle body on without making other improvements will just result in slower throttle response and slower pickup unless the stock one is restrictive which isn't the case with the S2000.

dude, come on.
you really should not be trying to modify a car without some basic knowledge.
this is like a gun enthusiast asking what bullets are.
really man, just search a little, or go to the library. that is a very basic question.
in about six months you are going to look back and be embarrassed that you asked this question.
try howstuffworks.com
and read all of thier stuff on engines and so forth.
it doesnt get any simpler than that
