Default Not because of F&F but can someone explain "misfiring system"?

That's when the exhaust shoots out flames from the back because of a huge retardation in timing between shifts to keep the turbo's spool?

Am I wrong? Do you get fire shooting out of the exhaust because the exhaust valves are open during the spark? Or is there a spark plug built into the exhaust that ignites during the shift to create that?

I'm just curious and I know there's good reasons for it but I was also wondering if (like usual) there's a 'rice boy' method that some people use which actually accomplishes nothing but 'oooooh' from by-standers

Rice boy method = spark plug in your exhaust pipe

So the real method is to retard the timing when the clutch is down?

Thats funny, my friend wants me to help him do that in his truck! Anyone have any pointers on how its done? I know I'll need a coil, sparkplug, and switch of some sort. Anything else?

i know at the drag strip on carbureted cars and bikes they had a 'chatter box' which cut out every other spark to each cylinder to keep the engine right at the preset launch rpm. so there was fuel dumping into the engine but no spark. when the mixture went into the exhaust, the other cylinder firing would light it off. with fuel injected cars, there is no reason not to cut both fuel and spark to the cylinder thats being skipped (unless your engine management doesnt let u do it).
