Default Help me out here guys!(what mod(s) to do next.

I have a

92 GS-R w/swap

Engine wise I have:

00' JDM b18cr w/LS tranny (b16 tranny not on yet, will be shortly)
DC Intake
DC Header
Custom 2'5" pipes

The thing is I bought the car with the swap and I am pretty sure it has the old intake manifold for the b17(the pfgmi or whatever)

I was thinking of getting the skunk2 intake manifold manifold. Will that make a good difference? Cam gear, pullys, flywheel? I am in high school so I dont know If I can afford a Dyno tune so I would like to stick with the mods that dont require it right away.

I read that I shouldnt get cam gears without the cams. I dont know if I should get some Mugen valve springs im sure they wont help me out anyway since I still have the stock ITR ecu...

Which brings me to another question whats and where can I find a good ECU

Help is appreciated.

Open to anything(about $500 of everything )

So I should run obd1? Sorry for the idiotic questions but what would I need for the conversion? and where can I find that p28 w a itr basemap? Will the skunk2 racing ecu work?

i don't understand how you got the b17 manifold to fit the gsr head. But put the b16 tranny on, keep the stock intake manifold and buy a engine mangement system like eithier a obd 1 p28 ecu with uberdata and a itr basemap for now. Then get it dyno tuned. You're saying that you can't afford dyno tune but it cost less than most performance parts. Probably only the same price most people would pay for their AEM intakes. If you want more power after it's tuned get rid of your junk header, get something better. Than upgrade your valvetrain and get some cams. Then you can move onto changing your intake manifold.

motor is a JDM B18CR, so its not a GSR head. if your talking about your intake manifold, it looks like a stock jdm b16. if i were you i'd buy a new IM(like AEBS or Sk2), TB(it also depends if he left the ITR one on there, doesn't look like it though), and a long w/ the ECU get a VAFC(w/ AF gauge) or something to do some slight tuning. Thats not true about the camgears, its just better to get it w/ cams or atleast more worth it. you can still tune stock cams though, just continue getting small parts. For the amount of money to buy parts you can have enough to pay for some tuning

YES, very possibly since he changed the intake manifold that throttle body might of already been on there. i would measure it, i think type r's are 62mm. DOES the head say PR3 or does the intake manifold say it? Oh i was talking to the other guy about the motor

Also, if I got the AEBS manifold would that TB fit right? Or would I HAVE to change it? Again sorry for all the stupid questions.
