i have question about breking in the engine

to break engine is 5000miles?

 

It should say in your manual, 600 miles before any rapid acceleration.

 

Congrats. I would say about 1500-2000

 

i just went easy on my motor till i got to 1000

I broke mine in for 1000 miles.

You saying 5000 miles makes me think you may have the break in procedure confused with how long you have to wait for your first oil change since you have to keep the break-in oil in there for a bit longer then usual.

I'm sure many of the questions will be answered in your owners manual, definitely read it

 

5000 is a bit excessive... you're good after the first 750. a 1000 to be safe. congrats on your new purchase.

 

i say after every 100 miles you take it up a notch.

because if your baby'ing your engine to 1000 miles then redlining it your exposing an engine to revs its never seen before and thats not to nice is it

but enjoy the car

Ya fug that shid

I left the dealer yesterday evening with 58 miles showing and redined the 1st three gears bouncing it off the rev limiter at every opportunity.

The whole "break in" thing is over rated
