nope, unless your tach wacked

stock figures
v= 5.7 and r= 8.2k rpm

pop open the cover, remove the knock sensor board and snap pic of the EPROM

hm, I thought vtec was at 5800 not 5700 but the p30 about a 2nd gen b16 has dual stage vtec so you might just be hitting your 2nd stage

no such thing as due stage vtec BS, period - cam switch / vtec engagment happens only @ point around 5.7km

if your thinking gsr then its dual stage intake and 5750rpm or so is for the secondaries to open up. vtec on GSR is 4.4k rpm. don't mix the two up

ok so the jdm b16 comp. is suppose to vtec @ 6 vs. 4800 like usdm... and also redline at 9k...I tried 4 computers in 2 different cars and all of them do the same thing. We bought 4 complete jdm b16a swaps from hmotorsonline and all the comps do the same thing. Tested in an EG and an EK... so I know its not just one computer its all of them...

stock tachs are ****, vtec should be around 5.7-5.8k and rev limit @ 8400 for a jdm p30
