Default Lowering Car Again

Okay, I currently have a 98 Accord 4 Dr with a 1.5" drop, but I want to drop it further down if possible. I have Tien S.S. Full Coilovers right now, but what I was wondering is if I put on a different set of springs would that help to lower it further, or would I be better trying a different setup. If a different setup is necessary, then what setup would you recommend?

isnt the tein SS height adjustable? why dunt u just lower it more...and if u already thought about that and maybe u want high spring rates to compensate for the lower ride(?) i dunt see why u cudnt throw some dif springs on there, just be sure to kno wut ur doin or ask a pro to see if ur spring rate will work good with the ss dampers

Where the car is lowered now, is a far as it can go on those springs, I really want to lower it to a total of about 2 inches or 2.5 inches, but I can't with the current spring setup.

Tein's website says for your app it drops you 3.1 in front and 2.8 in the back.....maybe you installed them incorrectly or the shop who did the work installed them wrong.

Well, to make sure the above was true, I went to their website, located the description for my vehcicle, and the following link says that I can not drop it more than two inches. Remember, my vehicle is the 4 Door model.

I would really like for the vehicle to sit right on top of the tire ... as of right now, I can fit one finger and about a half of another finger between the tire and the fenderwell.

1 1/2 finger gap shud be sitting pretty close to ur fender...my friend has a 2 finger gap front on hix BMW and it looks perfect, and during hard cornering he still manages to scrape...but if u really wunna go lower, and if there isnt much left u can do with the SS maybe u shud go with a different set up

Okay, well I had some cheap springs from a coilover set that my friend broke, so I tried them out on my car. Yes, if you put a different spring on the car, it can go even lower. I will post up a before / after shot for your viewing so that you can see that it works.

I will probably go buy some Dropzone brands springs, they sem to have the lowest drop with the springs at 2.5 inches
