well it rattels most in that area.

I replaced my cat thinking that was the problem, now i just took off my heat sheild thinking maybe that had somthing to do with it. But no

now im thinking it might be the heat sheild on the back of the stock headers? Im not sure but if anyone has had this problem, plz fill me in ... i am starting to get extreamly frustrated.

 

I believe its the 2nd half of the Stock headers, it has little holes, Change the Bottom half, or the whole header. This will solve your problem.

 

hmm this is somthing nobody on TI has said .. and i feel like you might be right seeing i tried just about everything else.

 

have you indentified roughly where its coming from? is your cat-back stock? which heat sheilds are still on?

 

well no my exhaust from the cat back is not stock .. 2.5" , but the sound is more from the engine bay.. and its not the heatsheilds on the header. but its in and around that area

 

i had this same kind of rattling. it was coming from the loose gravel located behind the heat shields on the stock cat. i ripped that ****** off and bought a random cat. the noise went away and i passed emissions.
