HELP!!! BAD BACK FIRING

B18B1 USED 2B IN 94 INTEGRA LS
BACKFIRED THEN BUT MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE A DAY
I DID SWAP 4 MONTHS AGO N2 92 DX HATCH
UPGRAGED THE EXHAUST 2.5 BACK FROM CAT
IT BACKFIRES 2-3 TIMES EVERYTIME IM SLOWING DOWN
I HAVE NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT/ECU CODES
NO SMOKING FROM TAIL PIPE BUT IS A STRONG SMELL I CANT TELL IF RICH OR LEAN SMELL(MAYBE BURNING FIBERGLASS)
FUEL PRESSURE TURNED UP 2 40PSI BUT I KNOW PEOPLE RUNIN 45PSI NO PROBLEMS
ALSO I HAD 2 ADJUST TIMING 2 HIGH END TORQUE(IT IDLE VERY BAD IF I ADJUST ANY LOWER) BUT IT IDLES AT 900RPM AN TAKES OF SLOW(POSIBALY IACV)
BUT ON THE BACK FIRING SUBJECT I WOULD REALLY LIKE 2 KNOW WHAT THAT IS CAUSE IT BURNED ALL THE FIBERGLASS OUT MY MUFFLER AN IT IS VERY LOUD AN I HAVE 2 MAKE A 200MILE TRIP SATURDAY

I THINK YOU NEED TO LEAN WHAT THE CAPS BUTTON DOES, and please learn how to use it.
It seems like the timing would be off, making it too rich. Leaving fuel in the chamber and it is lighting under decleration......i think
As far as the "fiberglass" smell. That is weird. I would guess it is from the cat due to the back fire.
Are there any other mods on the car other than a FPR and the exhasut?? If not why did you have to mess with the timing to get it to idle.
If there are no other mods i would think you need to get the idle issue solved first, fix the timing, then see if it still backfires.

other modes:
4-2-1 headers
52mm plug wires
cold air
intake spacer
nothin that should really bother idle
all i know is it started last summer in my ls teg right out the blue it just starts idlein up an down
so some dumbass so called honda/acura(i think he was all BS) specialist turns the distributar 2 top end torque and it stops bad idle but takes of slow an back fires
so i have turned distributer back 2 center or lower end torque an it just started idlein like crap again so i put it back 2 top end
hmm can u break that fuel an deleration thing down 2 me a lil more
im just starting 2 get serious wit honda motors over the past year but im willin 2 learn
