I've already searched and came up with nothing. I was wondering if anybody has fit 6x9 speakers into the rear speaker area of their EG. I really want to upgrade my sound system without having to put subs in my car. If anybody has done this before I would really appreciate it if you helped me out on how you did this.

 

Just try to cut it out by tracing the 6x9 shape.

 

are you talking about a hatchback?

you could just cut out two 6x9 holes in the rear cargo cover.

try the Audio / Security / Video forum.

 

if u have hatch an the cargo cover is missin then make 1 wit mdf board an cut out 6X9 or u can do it on stock cargo cover

i have 6X9 on mdf cargo cover
2 6.5in in each side by the back seat (custom using eg6 brackets)

6.5 sqweezed n front doors wit separate tweeters

an 2 finish it off custom 2 12in woofer in hatch

did it all myself wit simple tools


SOUNDS GOOD BUT I MAY DROP TO 2 10IN WOOFER 12IN CAN SOUND CLUTTERED WHEN UP VERY LOUD BUT TRUST WHEN ITS THAT LOUD U DONT WANNA B IN THE CAR
