hey does any1 know what type of bulb i need for the red side marker rear bumber light on a 96 coupe...

its your ordinary peanut bulb same as the corner lamps. dang i dont know the exact code

 

no they dont come on when you break.... only after you turn you parking lights on

 

It should say on the bulb shouldnt it?? Usually theres a number stamped on the bulb. Id just take the bulb out and bring it to a local parts shop and see if they carry it.

dude, think before you try to help out.

that suck only lite when you switch the light on at night or when you use the keyless entry remote.

it's a 194 size bulb, singel filament

 

yea i was thinking mabye if i could install another bulb in the housing to make it blink with my blinkers... from the side of the 5th gen its hard to see if the blinkers on becuse there far in front of the bumber not on the side and im tired of ppl cutting me off.. i was hoping they made duel filiment to make it easyer

 

That sounds like a pretty good idea

I personally don't use those 194 bulbs in my Trunk housing. I think they are a waste of money.

People will cut you off regardless. It wouldn’t matter if you had ten signal light all around you car.

Do relay method, it stay on constantly and flash when signal. Or hook up an extra pair of side marker on the fender.

 

yea thats true that ppl wil cut me off.. but if i got this done .. i wont feel sympathy for them anymore.. right now it could be there mistake becuase they cant see my blinker from the side... now they can for sure see it.. and if they dont its there fault... its mainly when on 3 or more lanes and theres an open lane next to me and im about to switch , and the person on the other side of that lane goes into it when im already halfway in...
