Default Greddy type R BOV

anyone in here run one? if you do do you use a stiff or standard spring? what are teh pros and cons of this bov?

its verry good bov if you plan on 20psi or plus the greeddy type S will work fine under that and save you hell of alot of money. I ran the 22pounds and the R works just fine.that was waby back in 97....

thanks for the info-i have a built block etc.i plan on boosting over 20 at the track with standalone.so i think this will be a good investment.

It'll work good on the track but i think on the street 10psi isnt enough to really get it to open up correctly.

Thats a big jump in boost. There are a ton of other things you need to do before thinking about 20psi. The bov should be the last of your worries.

I run the Greddy Type "R" with the standard spring. I have boosted 18-19 psi on the thing without any problems!

obviously, but i like to plan ahead.( so wait what you are saying is that there are "things" i have to do to my motor to handle 20 psi?? i thought you could just slap a turbo on and boost 25+ psi with stock injectors?? im gonna have to rethink this whole boosting over 20psi all over again)
