Default 96 LS climate control

How do I take the climate controls out....or rather....where is the screw that is holding it in located at. I installed a VAFC2 and have to run the wires down there. It looks kinda fugly just hanging out lol. Thanks

I actually think i saw a write-up on this... i'm not sure... just search... I know that really doesn't help directly...sorry..

you have to pull the hazard/defroster buttons out, and there are screws behind them (these are a pain in the *** so be carefull). Other than that it is just clipped in

snapping out the hazard/defroster buttons, and then unscrewing the screws behind them is the easier part. Then Unhooking the temperature cable can be a pain...then you have to unplug the blower switch harness...at this point it will slide cleanly out.
but since you are just running wires you might not need to completely pull it out, you should have enough room to manuever by just unscrewing the two screws and partially sliding it out.

thanks...I did all that but I lost one of the clips to the defroster when I pulled it out....now I have to find a clip
