always check ebay, some times you luck out and are able to get the actual book from there. if not google search your cars 'service manuals'

along with a dealership service manual, get a chiltons or Haynes [excuse me for saying helms] because the service manuals can be way to vague.

actually it is the other way around, all i have been able to find on ebay is the cds, and the helms and chilton manuals are the vague ones, the service manual is the best 60 dollars any car owner could spend there money on

I don't know, I've got a Chiltons and it's just as good as my Helms. It's the new edition '84-'95 Civic/CRX/ Del Sol manual. And isn't the Helms the official service manual? I've got a few manuals downloaded, some say Helms and some say Service Manual; and both are clearly made by the same company. Are you sure you're not thinking of Haynes as the vague one? Because Haynes makes the Chilton one, so that'd make sence.

HONDA shop manuals are helms manuals, Chilton and Haynes are junk compared to it. I think you have been mistaken.

CDs are fine, just not everyone would want to work on there car with their laptop out and screw printing out the pages you need.

jdmeg9, just cough up the $60 bucks for the helms manual.

How can I get an owners/service manual for my Honda?

Contact Helm, Inc. at 1-800-782-4356. They publish all of Honda's user manuals and can ship any manual. Helm: http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?r=
